Anna De Leon

Anna de Leon Marcelo holds a BA in Fine Arts major in Interior Design from the University of Santo Tomas and has been actively practicing for decades. Such is the delicacy of Anna de Leon’s touch, that she was able to imbue the birds with almost human qualities: grace and tenderness, enchanting and engaging. She absorbs the tradition of remembrance art into her daily practice by applying abstraction. With their joyous presence, Anna used them as emotional surrogates for romantic relationships, weaving lyrical narratives that charmed their way into the hearts of viewers and collectors.
